The words we speak are very Powerful! They will either create life and blessings in our lives or pain and disappointment. It is up to us to decide which of these we will experience.

Proverbs 18:21 tells us that Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit of it. The answer is literally in your mouth. Whether we realize it or not, we have all created the life we now have through what we have believed and spoken. Think about that for just a moment. As pleasurable or painful as that may be, it is a biblical truth. For example, this process applies to all who have become a child of God through faith in Christ. Romans 10:9-10 says, “That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart (your mind, will and emotions) man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Declaring the promises of God’s word over your life is your part. Manifesting those promises and bringing them from the invisible to the visible is God’s part. Jeremiah 1:12 (NAS) says, “Then the LORD said to me, you have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it." “God’s word believed without being spoken will remain just a thought. God’s word believed and spoken will produce the results in your life that God desires.”
